I want to create a window cling to block the news ticker on my tv.?

Does anyone else think this is a good idea? I hate even watching football or news or any sport with the news and score scrolling across the bottom of the screen constantly. I usually put my picture mode on zoom, but I would love to just paste a cling decal (black) on the tv screen
