Often times do women and girls only grow to regret rampant promiscuity due to guilt from social backlash?

i think that alot of women who sleep around feel bad because they grow up and start thinking about meaningless all that was. i dont think it is because of what other people think of the. i think when u sleep around alot like i used to that after a while even when u r around other people u start to feel so alone and sad. because its self does not really make u feel better after a while it just makes u feel worse about yourself. i felt bad because i would look at myself and think i am such a gross person for doing this. not because of what others thought but because of what i thought. i stopped doing this when i met my current boyfriend because we feel in love and i would not trade the love we have for a night of crazy drunk !
