Another 'Can you remember', UK oldies only?

The subject of advertising came up last night in the pub, do you remember the adverts on the back of some magazines about a company called 'Gamages' at least we think it was called that, you could buy such mind boggling things that enthralled the young boy like an instrument called a seebackroscope, and xray specs that inflamed the pions of young boys by enabling to see what girls were wearing, itching powder and sneezing powder. I never knew anyone who ever bought anything from them, but did you? and what else was there for sale.
